Tayler L’amoureux, LICSW (SHE/HER/HERS)

Specialty Area: Through a relationally oriented lens, my goal is to provide a safe space for people to explore and work through any concern or distress that may be leading them to therapy. I believe that all children and adults have the capacity to understand, both intellectually and emotionally, the stressors or feelings that are bringing them to therapy. Within our secure space, we work together explore an individual’s concerns and work towards personal growth and freedom.  I also have a strong background in Dialectical Behavioral Theory (DBT), and integrate these skills into my approach when appropriate.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults in the twin cities area. I see clients both over telehealth and in-person, whichever is preferred by the individual. I am located in our St. Paul office for those that wish to meet in-person.

Additionally, I am earning a PhD in Clinical Social Work with a special focus on providing clients of all ages with psychodynamic therapy (psychodynamic play therapy for children). This type of therapy aids in processing and creating meaning from past life experiences. I am currently working on a dissertation in Asian-American Studies.

Education: Tayler holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY.

Tayler is a current Ph.D. candidate at the Institute for Clinical Social Work in Chicago, IL studying psychodynamic and analytic theory (completion date: January 2025).

Availability: Currently accepting new clients.
